These are all things I've wanted at various points for a year and a half.  As a post-Compacter, I am committed to finding them used if at all possible (and really, there's no reason I can't find them used).  The fact that I've hankered after all of these things for so long and yet gotten along fine without them does give me pause.

So I have 13,712 points racked up with in:nyc, the rewards program that goes with my Amex.  I can use them at selected NYC businesses.  10,000 points translates to a $100 certificate that Amex sends in the mail ( Read more... )

A hemp shower curtain instead of a plastic one for my new (tbd) apartment.  Plastic curtains are mostly made of PVC, and off-gass all kinds of nasty chemical compounds.  Hemp supposedly is naturally resistant to mildew - but that is the one issue I worry about with a cloth curtain.  How fast does it dry out?  How often would I have to wash it?

Nothing exciting.

- New jogbra, because the laundromat ate one and the other gets dirty fast.  Happiness is a clean, dry jogbra.
